• LITHOSTRATIGRAPHY: From the Parinas Fm of the Parinas Gp, which regionally overlies the Pale Greda Fm of the Salina Gp (early Middle Eocene) and is regionally overlain by the Restin Fm (late Middle Eocene). AGE: Regarded as late Middle Eocene (p. 9) =Bartonian, on the basis of molluscan biostratigraphy. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From unknown position within formation.

Environment/lithology: coastal; poorly lithified, coarse-grained, white, yellow sandstone and poorly lithified, pebbly conglomerate

• ENVIRONMENT: Shelfal siliciclastic environment.
• LITHOLOGY: Coarse, gritty, white or yellowish sandstones and pebble conglomerates. LITHIFICATION: Poorly lithified, on the basis of figured specimens.
