• "They are restricted to the first ten meters above the contact with sediments of continental origin bearing Colhuehuapian fauna."

Environment/lithology: marine; fine-grained, tuffaceous, shelly/skeletal, gray, silty sandstone

• The sediments are gray, fine grained, tuffaceous sandstones and siltstones with some oyster banks.
