When: Carodnian mammal zone, Peņas Coloradas Formation (Rio Chico Group), Middle Paleocene (61.7 - 58.7 Ma)

• 19 to 20 meters above the "Banco Negro Superior". All specimens occur within a six metre stratigraphic span.

•Informal Carodnian zone, between Peligran and Itaboraian SALMA. Approximately correlative to the Middle Paleocene/Selandian (Woodburne et al. 2014)
