• Prothero (2001b) found the strata of Member C of the Santiago Formation to be entirely reversed and suggested it correlated with Chron C19r (42.5 Ma-41.5 Ma),

• bed-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: fluvial; siltstone

• ~0.6 m thick, gray-green, fine grained sandy siltstone

Size classes: macrofossils, mesofossils

Collection methods: quarrying, sieve

• approximately ~2900 kg of sediment were hand quarried and screenwashed
