Type specimen: MV 7697, a tooth (tooth in part and counterpart). Its type locality is MV 7106, Supercrop Quarry, Bear Gulch, which is in an Arnsbergian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Heath Formation of Montana.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore
