Type specimen: Zhucheng Dinosaur Museum (ZCDM) V0031, a partial skull (nearly complete right maxilla and associated left dentary). Its type locality is Zangjiazhuang quarry (loc. 090413), which is in a Campanian fluvial siltstone/siltstone in the Xingezhuang Formation of China.
