Type specimen: MAU-Pv-PH-449, a partial skeleton (Two isolated teeth (MAU-Pv-PH-449/1 and 22), posterior portion of possibly middle cervical vertebra (MAU-Pv-PH-449/37), three incomplete posterior dorsal verteb). Its type locality is PH 1597, Rincón de los Sauces, which is in a Coniacian/Santonian crevasse splay mudstone in the Plottier Formation of Argentina.
