Botsvania cretacea Rasnitsyn & Brothers, gen. et sp. n.: (5) Holotype, BP/2/26835/1; (6) Drawing, with composite forewing below. Antenna: S  scape, P  pedicel, 112 flagellomeres; wing veins labelled conventionally. Scale bar = 1 mm.

Type specimen: BP/2/26835/1, an exoskeleton (almost complete female). Its type locality is Orapa (Bernard Price Institute), which is in a Turonian lacustrine - large mudstone in Botswana.
