Type specimen: NMC 343, a tooth. Its type locality is 2.5 miles south of mouth, Sand Creek (200 ft level), which is in a Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Dinosaur Park Formation of Canada.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
