Type specimen: UCMP 31520, a partial skeleton ([skull] slightly crushed on right side, some displacement of left orbit and pterygoid region; major portion of right branch and tip of left branch of rostral ho). Its type locality is Bromley Ranch, which is in a Clarendonian terrestrial horizon in Texas.

Ecology: ground dwelling grazer
