Type specimen: Geol. Muz. Imp. Akademii Nauk 1410/1, a limb element (metatarsal II (orig. IV)). Its type locality is Tarbagatay mines, Transbaikal, which is in a Neocomian terrestrial coal/claystone in the Turgin Formation of the Russian Federation.
