Where: León, Spain (42.9° N, 5.9° W: paleocoordinates 55.4° S, 104.6° E)

When: Solenopleuropsis thorali trilobite zone, Genestosa Member (Oville Formation), St Davids (513.0 - 501.0 Ma)

• Oville Fm ranges from upper Caesaraugustian to Languedocian; Genestosa Member is Lower Languedocian (Cambrian Series 2).

Environment/lithology: shallow subtidal; siltstone

• They were preserved as natural molds; thus, they cannot be found in carbonates.

Size class: macrofossils

Preservation: mold/impression
