At present, the transitional landscape of woodland and pampean native grassland (Stipa spp.) persists in small remnants (patches) among crop-fields"

Sampling comments: "24 crop-field borders were selected from satellite images... Small mammal trapping in borders was conducted in November 2005 (spring), March 2006 (summer) and May 2006 (autumn)... A total of 20 traps were placed in each border. Sherman live-traps and snap- traps were alternated, located at 4-m intervals. All traps were baited with a mixture of peanut butter and cow fat and were checked every morning during two consecutive weeks (eight nights)"
