Sampling comments: "16 chemical baits" were used, and "most are known constituents of floral fragrance... Each chemical was applied to separate 7 x 7 cm pads of clean herbarium blotter paper... From 0830 to 1230 I presented the chemical baits... At 15-min intervals I recorded all visitors to each of the compounds... Only vouchers and taxonomically difficult species were captured... Every week from mid-February 1979 to mid-March 1980, I baited for bees at the Tower Clearing. Thereafter, I baited once every 4 wk through June 1980" but these data are for weeks 2 through 14 only
