"It is not sufficiently resolved if the LC should be placed whether into the regional Spore-Pollen-Paleogene (SPP) zone 17/18 (latest Bartonian) or into SPP zone 18 (early to middle Priabonian)" but the site is indicated to fall in the fully latest Bartonian Zeitz Member (Fig. 2), so a Bartonian-Priabonian boundary date is used and the age is entered as Bartonian
