Sampling comments: "Rodent abundance was investigated in the spring (April and May) and autumn seasons (August and September) of each year. Wire cage traps (27 cm x 14 cm x 14 cm) baited with peanuts and local dry leaves were provided as nesting materials to protect rodents from cold weather and predators. Trapping was conducted in ten plots for three consecutive days. Each plot (200 m x 45 m) was divided into three transect lines, and a total of 20 traps were set 10 m apart along each line in the plot"
total days 4 months x 3 days
total traps 10 plots x 3 transects x 20 traps
total days 4 months x 3 days
