Geography comments: "Qubur al-Walaydah is a small archaeological site in south-west Israel with a total size of about two ha. The site is located on the right bank of the Nahal Besor stream between Tell Jemmeh and Tell el-Far'ah (South)".

Habitat comments: The Iron Age II occupation at Field 2 is constrained to strata III, IV, and V. "The site was probably occupied by a single farmstead during Stratum VI"; "there was also apparently only a single building on the small mound in Stratum V".
"On the occupation surfaces of this stratum (V) substantial amounts of pottery were found, including a cooking pot. There was also a pit within Stratum V that was rich with pottery finds". Several damaged walls were found in strata III and IV, including some with stone foundations in Stratum III. "There are no settlement remains after Stratum III".
