Sampling comments: the survey was "carried out from 14 September to 13 November 2005... at the end of the dry season and the beginning of the rainy season... 24 camera stations were set out in a 2 km grid along the study site’s trail system... covering an area of c. 50 km2... Each camera station included paired cameras facing one another on respective sides of a trail... We used Deercam... passive infrared cameras... Cameras were operating 24h a day and were checked every 5 days to replace film and batteries if necessary"
