Lithology: conglomerate

Taphonomic context: fluvial deposit

Habitat comments: Neogene sediments in the basin constitute "a megasequence of lacustrine and palustrine sediments deposited in the context of an alluvial plain, and dotted with local sabkhas" and the fossils are from the upper "conglomerate" member of the formation, which consists of "alluvial deposits: sandstone and especially conglomerates"
